Springs and Caves that you can visit and swim while you're in Bohol

Here is my list of suggestions of springs and caves that you can visit.

 1. Badiang Spring - This Cold Spring is located in alongside the highway in Anas, Valencia. Just around 42 Kilometers from Tagbilaran City. This Spring is one of the famous springs in Bohol due to its very accessible location. It is situated near a cliff with natural spring that goes directly to the swimming pools and then flows out to the sea below.

2. Inambacan Cave - This cave with Natural Pool is located in Antequera. Just 14.8 kilometers or 24 minutes ride. This is for the adventurous travelers. The spring under the cave is frequently bathed by the locals but the cave, which entrance is just above the spring is rarely visited by locals or tourist alike. If you love the adrenaline, you can enter the cave by taking the narrow cement path that serves as a wall for an irrigation system, this leads to a small entrance. Inside, you will be awed by the presence of numerous beautiful limestone formation, stalactites, stalagmites and tuffs.

3. Mag-aso Falls - This fall is also located in Antequera just like the Inambacan Cave. If cliff jumping is your thing, you must give this fall a visit. The Mag-aso falls is measured 8 meters from the top to the bottom. You must be very careful thou because the rocks will be very slippery especially when it's rainy season. Changing Room and Toilet Room were also available in the premises for the guests' convenience.

4. Canawa Cold Spring - This cold spring is located in Brgy. Canawa in Candijay and is derived from the local term "cawa" means a vat/pan. This place is just near the Can-Umantad Falls and the Cadapdapan Rice Terraces. In going there, you can ride a Motorbike or by car. The distance of the falls from the Poblacion is just 10.8KM away or 15-20 mins ride. Their entrance fee is 20 pesos for adults and 10 pesos for children. The spring itself is deep and blue. Locals and foreign alike can't even swim to the bottom. There are also jumping spots for the cliff jumping lovers.

5. Logarita Spring - This Spring is located in Bilar, right beside the Raja Sikatuna Park. The spring itself is surrounded by indigenous forest, which makes the place cool and shaded. Perfect for those who loves to swim but hates getting sunburn along the way. The amazing part of this it that you can actually drink the crystal-clear flowing water.

7. Hinagdanan Cave Pool - This cave pool is one of the easiest to access. Aside from this is just 15-20 mins drive from the airport, this tourist site is included in most of the tours if you are planning to have one. But if you are planning for a DIY tour, this is a perfect starting point if you were staying in the Panglao because it is just near the National Highway. The water inside is very clear even if there were many tourists swimming. Here, while swimming in the cold relaxing water, you can enjoy seeing the stalagmite and stalactite the cave has.

10. Cabagnow Cave Pool - This is one of the popular tourist sites when visiting Anda. It is located in Brgy Bacong. From Tagbilaran City, you can take a bus or a van going to Anda, just ask the driver to let you drop by the street corner in Bacong leading to Cabagnow Cave. From there, you can walk for 10 mins to get to the cave pool. The water inside the cave is salt water because this cave pool itself is connected to the sea nearby. The deepest part of this cave pool is 20ft, perfect for plunging or diving. If you don't know how to swim, no need to worry because floaters were readily available for you.

11. Combento Cave Pool - This cave pool is also located in Anda, just a few minutes' drive away from Cabagnow. Combento Cave if located in Brgy Virgen. This is also popular to the tourist so once you get to Anda Town, you can simply ask an habal-habal driver to get you in this cave. From the outside, the cave is just an ordinary one, nothing unusual or stands out. Inside, you will walk to a cemented stair leading to the cave pool. There are two sources of water inside, first is the Natural Spring that locals used to drink water from, and second is the seawater which affect its depth. During hightide, the pool depth can be measured 6 ft which is enough to submerge your body. During low tide, the water in the pool will become shallow because only the spring inside the cave supplies the water.
